Our home is a charming, Grade II listed 16th century house once owned by the Church and run as a retreat for the clergy. Today, it is open to all, offering six well appointed, distinctively furnished bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. Your comfort is our aim. Overlooking the historic town of Stratton, our home is situated in a quiet conservation area. A mile or so distant are Bude's lovely beaches, and it is not far to magnificent coastal scenery with rugged cliffs and hidden coves for those who like to walk and explore. Bude offers a range of activities including surfing, tennis, bowls, squash, horse riding and fishing. Bordering the town is the demanding 18 hole links course of the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club. You will be in an ideal location to visit the many attractions including the exciting moorlands of Devon and Cornwall, quaint fishing villages, King Arthur's castle, the Eden Project and many more....

Stratton Gardens' accommodation includes a comfortable lounge and bar area. In our licensed candlelit restaurant, we take pride in offering you a choice of traditional, and the more innovative fare. We use locally farmed meat, fresh Cornish fish and locally grown vegetables whenever we can. We do our utmost to cater for those with dietary needs. For the comfort of others, smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the hotel or restaurant. Our aim is to create a restful environment for all our guests.

There are attractive, secluded rear terraced gardens you are welcome to enjoy. The RHS gardens at Rosemoor are within 40 minutes drive, and a number of other famous gardens not too far away.

A private car park with ample space is available at the side of the house for your use.
